Chokitem was an idea created by the culture of Africa with a mission to reinvest in woman artisans specifically to help build capital for their families as well grow the artisan's entrepreneurial business.
Our mission was to encourage, re-educate, grow, and do it in an eco-friendly way. Taking on the resources in front of us and recycling the idea to preserve handmade craftsmanship by the hands of our woman.
We are a family own start-up business and took a leap in 2019 to make the idea a reality.
Happily to say the journey was not an easy one but committing to making a difference in our lives and helping the lives of others was what we valued.
